Privacy Policy

Act Right Pro™ ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Act Right Pro web application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a one-way hash). We may also collect your name if you provide it.

Audition content

You submit scene sides, character descriptions, relationships, settings, and other context ("Audition Content"). This content is sent to our AI analysis service to generate your scene breakdown and is stored in your account history so you can revisit past analyses.

Your audition material is fully private. All Audition Content you submit is kept confidential to your account — it will not be shared, copied, sold, or distributed to any third party other than the AI Provider used to generate your analysis. We do not use your Audition Content to train AI models, and no one else can view your scenes or breakdowns.

Usage data

We track how many analyses you have used (free audition, credits purchased, subscription status) to enforce plan limits and manage entitlements.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, bank account, or full payment details — Stripe handles that securely. We store a record of your subscription status and purchased credits.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide scene analysis, character breakdowns, and rehearsal features
• To manage your account, subscription, and credit entitlements
• To process payments through Stripe
• To send you service-related emails (password reset, account confirmation)
• To respond to support requests you submit
• To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits

3. AI Processing

When you submit Audition Content, it is sent to a third-party AI model (the "AI Provider") for analysis. The AI Provider processes your content to generate the scene breakdown. We do not use your Audition Content to train AI models. Your content is retained in your account history and may be sent to the AI Provider again if you request follow-up questions or re-analysis.

4. Data Retention

Your Audition Content and analysis history are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual analyses from your dashboard at any time. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days.

5. Data Sharing

Your audition material is never shared or copied. All Audition Content remains private to your account. We do not share, copy, sell, or distribute your scenes, character notes, or analysis to anyone — other than the AI Provider needed to generate your breakdown. No other user, advertiser, or third party can access your Audition Content.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• AI Provider — solely to generate your scene analysis; your content is not stored or reused by them beyond that request
• Stripe — to process payments (Stripe receives your payment details directly; we do not handle them)
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the Service
• Authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Access and export your Audition Content and analysis history
• Delete individual analyses or your entire account
• Update your email and password
• Cancel your subscription at any time

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, Row-Level Security on our database, and secret management for API keys. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice in the app. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
