Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Act Right (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Act Right provides AI-generated audition scene analysis, character breakdowns, rehearsal tools, and PDF exports for actors. The Service is a tool to support your preparation — it is not a substitute for professional coaching or a guarantee of booking a role.

2. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Your Content

You are responsible for the Audition Content (sides, character descriptions, notes) you submit. You confirm that you have the right to submit any scripts or text you upload. You retain ownership of your content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to process it through our AI provider and store it in your account history.

Do not submit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes on someone else's intellectual property.

4. AI-Generated Output

Scene analyses and rehearsal features are generated by AI. Output may contain errors, misreadings, or suggestions that don't fit the material. You are responsible for evaluating and deciding whether to use any suggestion. Act Right is not liable for acting choices or audition outcomes based on AI output.

5. Plans, Credits, and Payment

Your first audition analysis is free. After that, the following plans are available:

• Pro Monthly — $14.99/month, unlimited analyses
• Pro Annual — $119/year, unlimited analyses
• Single Scene — $5.99 for 1 analysis credit (1 credit = 1 scene)
• 3-Scene Pack — $12.99 for 3 analysis credits

One credit covers one scene. If your audition has multiple scenes, each scene requires a separate credit or a Pro subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

Credit purchases (Single Scene, 3-Scene Pack) are non-refundable once used. Unused credits never expire. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@actrightpro.com within 30 days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, entitlements, or access controls
• Submit malware, spam, or harmful content
• Scrape, copy, or resell the Service's output at scale
• Share your account credentials with others

Violations may result in account suspension without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

Act Right Pro™, its branding, logo, design, and software are owned by Act Right Pro. The Act Right Pro™ name and logo are a trademark and may not be used without written permission. AI-generated analyses are provided to you for personal acting preparation. You may not resell, redistribute, or present Act Right Pro's output as your own coaching service.

9. Service Availability

We strive for uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or issues with third-party providers (AI, payment, hosting). We are not liable for downtime or data loss caused by factors outside our control.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Your data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that analyses are accurate, complete, or suitable for your audition. Use your own judgment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Act Right is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice in the app. Continued use after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance.
